Melissa grew up in Ohio with cows and goats and now owns a farm with her husband Collin in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Both Melissa and her husband are committed to raising their children on the farm and learning with them about responsible ways to nurture both land and animal through a pasture-based management system. Food freedom is an important cause for Melissa that she hopes to increase awareness of through her work with FFF.
